1. Beautiful Uganda

Beautiful Uganda is a hash tag or tagline that is used to promote Uganda under Market Uganda program. TIG Institute, a one- profit organisation, is responsible for implementing Market Uganda program. One of the tools used under Market Uganda program is a Website www.beautifuluganda.com.

Uganda is endowed with wonderful and great natural resources like rivers, lakes, mountains, flora and fauna, unique wild animals and birds’ species, hospitable people with varied culture and many other features all conducive for tourism. It has an amazing beautiful climate that every tourist would like to enjoy.

Tourist activities include: gorilla trekking in Bwindi & Mgahinga impenetrable forests, bird watching, visiting wildlife parks, enjoying white sand beaches on L. Victoria, mountaineering & hiking on the snowcapped magnificent Rwenzori mountains, forest and nature walks, white water rafting on R. Nile, visiting the source of the R. Nile, touring the magnificent Murchison Falls, boat riding on lakes and rivers, touring the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine, cultural and community tourism and others. Uganda is considered by many tourists as a country with the best tourist attraction in Africa. Sir Winston George Churchill, the then Prime Minister of Britain, after touring Africa concluded that Uganda was indeed the “Pearl of Africa.”

2. Use of Beautiful Uganda web-based systems and portals

People interested in using Beautiful Uganda web-based platforms, like www.beautifuluganda.com, APPs, systems, games, forms and links are expected to register using forms provided by supplying information as required. A registered user logs in and subscribes to the system and platform. Use of most of Beautiful Uganda services is at no cost, but in particular cases, where users are required to make financial contributions to the program, there are functions in place to assist users make payments using online tools. A registered user’s information will be automatically deleted if the required financial contribution is not made in that particular case.

3. Purpose of the Terms and Conditions of Use

The terms and conditions of use outlined on this Website are rules regarding user responsibility, behavior, expectations, and also provides information about the actions the site administrator can and will perform. These terms and conditions are a contract between the Website or system or APP and users. By using this Website, you agreed and accept all terms and conditions written here and as well as our privacy policy. They may also be subject to various security problems including but not limited to actual disturbance in case of illegal use of user information as well as threatened insecurity of your terminal device information and data due to possible presence of viruses and malwares in other software downloaded by the third parties, users or other Websites visited by the user, which in turn affect the normal use of the system, App, links and portals. Therefore, users should have higher understanding and expertise in information safety, security and protection for personal information and pay attention to protecting user passwords to avoid losses. TIG Institute does not warrant that our Web based systems and Apps will be compatible with all Web based systems, digital and mobile device or hardware, software, equipments or device installed on users applications, mobile device or used by you to access and use the applications in connection any devices. You acknowledge that compatibility issues may cause poor performance, delayed service, failure to offer service, permanent damage to mobile device and accessories, loss of data on devices and or accessories, corruption of software and files. You acknowledge and agree that TIG Institute shall have no liability to you for any losses suffered resulting from or arising from connectivity and compatibility issues.

In no event or circumstances shall TIG Institute nor any of its officers, directors and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website and associated systems, portals and links whether such liability is under contract or not, indirect or consequential.

TIG Institute is permitted to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website and associated portals and links you are expected to review these Terms and Conditions on a regular basis.

14. Assignment

TIG Institute is allowed to assign, transfer and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without any notification. However, users are not allowed to assign, transfer or subcontract any of the rights and/or obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between TIG Institute and you in relation to your use of this Website and associated portals and links, and supersede all prior term, agreements and understandings.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and you as user submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Uganda for the resolution of any disputes.
