Queen Elizabeth Park has most of the tree climbing lions in Africa and the highest number of birds in Uganda. Most lions do not climb but there are about two populations of tree climbing lions in the whole world and one of these is found in Queen Elizabeth. The park also neighbors the magnificent snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains that are suited for all year-round hiking and mountaineering.
